Color Correcting
Posted by Christian Pizzirani in Movies, Technology on January 15, 2010
I’m currently using Magic Bullet Looks in Premiere Pro CS4 to color correct some footage, and I’m having a hard time getting my output to match what I see in Premiere. I received some instructions from the manufacturer on how to avoid this, but we’ll see if it works. I have to export the whole movie out first before I can compress it for the web, and since it has 25 minutes to go (as of this writing), I thought I’d just blog about how much I want this to work. ‘Cause if it does work, the video will look awesome. And even more important, the potential for awesome-looking videos will be great.
Here’s hoping that in (now) 23 minutes, the video exports awesome.
iPhone-ing it while the wife and friends shop at Michaels. Thank you technology for being so kind to me.

Free iPhone/iTouch Game: Ramp Champ
Posted by Christian Pizzirani in iPhone on December 1, 2009
I came across this little carnival style game the other day, and it just so happens to be FREE at the moment! At it’s normal price of $1.99, it’s well worth it. At free, you can’t go wrong.
If you want to check out the app and download it for yourself, just click on either one of the pictures, or please click here. Enjoy!
My Run

Since I’m training for my half marathon, and because I apparently have to have technology in all parts of my life
, I recently purchased one of these bad boys:
Yeah, it’s a little extreme, but it’s also totally awesome! This Garmin GPS watch tracks not only your distance, pace, calories burned, and other stuff I haven’t explored yet, but it also saves a record of where you ran. Once I connect it to my computer, I can download the route that I took and the Garmin software shows me the route I ran, which I can then upload to a site like mapmyrun.com. This site can show my route using a satellite view. Pretty awesome if you ask me (and hey, I’m sure you were about to.)
This running stuff isn’t so bad after all. Technology makes it fun! Now I have to go play some video games.
